Play basketball history, one answer at a time

Each chapter contains seven open-answer prompts. After a three-second preparation, you have 25 seconds to enter one name. A valid answer ends the round; an unrecognized name can be retried while time remains. Skipping or running out of time earns zero points for that round.

The launch edition covers historical results from 1990 through 2025. Some questions narrow that window to a decade. Always read the years and the question scope: a real player is not automatically a valid answer to every prompt.

A deep bench, not a live popularity poll

Accepted answers receive 10, 25, 40, 60, 80 or 100 challenge points. These are fixed editorial weights for this site, not official Krillion scores, actual answer percentages, or a ranking of basketball ability. Every published question has at least one 100-point answer, giving a seven-round chapter a reachable maximum of 700.

Ten chapters to play and replay

The launch collection contains ten fixed chapters and 70 scoped prompts, including 40 period variations of ten historical question families. Replays use the same questions and fixed scores. This edition does not promise an unlimited supply of new daily questions.

Historical answers with stated boundaries

Questions include accepted names, curated aliases, a factual explanation and source references. Season-award years refer to the season-ending year; draft and All-Star event questions use calendar years. The facts in this edition stop at June 30, 2025, even though the sources were reviewed on October 21, 2026.
